The Supreme Court granted temporary protection from arrest to Malayalam film actor Siddique in a rape case on Monday. This decision came after Siddique challenged a Kerala High Court ruling denying him anticipatory bail. The Court ordered that if Siddique is arrested in connection with the case, he should be released on bail, on the condition that he complies with the trial court's orders, participates in the investigation, and remains available for questioning until the next hearing.
